Safety Precautions for purifyou® Glass Water Bottles

purifyou® glass bottles are made from high-quality borosilicate glass, known for its strength and resistance to thermal shock. Each bottle comes with a protective silicone sleeve to enhance durability and grip.

Usage Guidelines:
While purifyou® glass bottles are designed for everyday use, glass can still break under certain conditions such as impact, excessive weight, sudden temperature changes, or pressure. To ensure safety and prolong your bottle’s life, please follow these recommendations:

1. Dishwasher Use:
Most dishwashers are suitable for cleaning, but due to differences in dishwasher models, we cannot guarantee that damage will not occur. For larger bottles, we recommend placing them on the bottom rack.

2. Freezer Warning:
Do not place the bottle in the freezer.

3. Temperature Transition:
Allow the bottle to return to room temperature before moving it between hot and cold environments.

4. Filling Instructions:
Fill only up to the top of the silicone sleeve before sealing with the cap to avoid pressure-related breakage.

5. Movement & Transport Safety
When using or transporting your bottle in situations involving motion, please ensure it is properly secured:

  • In vehicles, place the bottle in a stable cup holder whenever possible.

  • When carrying the bottle in a bag, backpack, or tote, use a designated bottle holder or sleeve to minimize movement.

  • Avoid placing the bottle loosely in bags or areas where it can shift, tip over, or repeatedly bump against hard surfaces.

Repeated movement, vibration, or contact over time may place stress on the glass, which can contribute to breakage even without a single noticeable impact.

6. Carbonated Drinks:
Avoid filling the bottle with carbonated beverages to prevent pressure buildup and potential breakage.

7. Electronic Devices & Valuables:
Do not use or store your bottle near electronics or items that could be damaged by water in case of accidental leakage or breakage.

8. Glass Care:
Handle your bottle with care. While durable, it is not unbreakable. As with all glass products, it may break if dropped or struck.
